Festa Italiana

Vandergrift  - Saturday and Sunday, August 16 and 17.  Three Italian-language, English-subtitled, movies being presented at the Casino Theatre.  The Festa continues on Sunday, Aug. 17th with an outdoor mass at 10am, followed by a traditional Italian procession; Italian entertainment headlined by Julius LaRosa, a world renowned “Italian crooner” from the #1 TV shows of the 1950’s hosted by Arthur Godfrey and Ed Sullivan; great Italian food; and homemade wine and bagna calda contests.  For more information visit:  www.FestaItaliana.us.

Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania - October 7:  Proclamation Ceremony, City Council Chambers, City Hall Rm. 400 @ 12:15pm.  Refreshments will be served in Conversation Hall immediately following ceremony.
October 11 - Columbus Day Banquet at the Marriott Downtown Philadelphia, cocktail reception and dinner.
October 12 - Memorial Mass and Breakfast - Mass at St. Rita’s Parish 9:30 am, Breakfast immediately following at Galdo’s Catering Facility 20th & Penrose Ave.
Columbus Day Parade - Broad & Federal Sts. @ 12:15 pm proceeding south on Broad St. to Oregon Avenue.
